Wenn ihr regelmäßig in unser (oder auch auf anderen Seiten) Forum schaut, werdet ihr bestimmt schon bemerkt haben, dass es reichlich Diskussionen zu dem Nintendo Revolution gibt. Heute Abend soll nämlich die tatsächliche Revolution vorgestellt werden. Dies sind alles nur Gerüchte und Spekulationen, deshalb sprechen wir keine Garantie für die kommenden Zeilen aus. Doch gehen wir ersteinmal zurück zum Anfang...
Ein User namens Aries (Aime Reggie FillS Aries = Widder/Sternzeichen von Reggie) postet einige Vorhersagungen zu dem Nintendo Pressekonferrenz Auftritt. Soweit nichts besonderes, doch wie wir jetzt wissen, ist teilweise das passiert, was diese Person gesagt hat:

Like I said, I´m going to give out some details on the next gen hardware, especially the Nintendo Revolution. You guys already know a lot of information on the Xbox 360; you guys have already seen the specs of the system. Gamespy released them around GDC. I was at GDC, and I´ll fill you in on some stuff that IGN can´t talk about. Specs and details on the Nintendo Revolution were given out to developers during the conference. I can verify that my company as well as EA and Midway received them at GDC. I´m positive other publishers received them as well.
From what I´ve heard, Capcom and Namco are sold on the Revolution and are currently playing around with the development kits. I don´t know whether they are actually making games for it though. I was suprised to hear that Square Soft has a game in development for the Revolution. It will be at E3 as well as some other next gen titles for the PS3.
I´m currently working on a game for the Revolution as well. I can´t guarantee that it will be at E3 though. I think people are going to be very suprised. When I worked with Nintendo, I was able to see the earliest builds of the system. It has come a long way, to say the least. There are a lot of graphics whores out there who feel the Revolution will be a weak system. They will be very suprised come E3. Microsoft is banking on stealing the show, but I think they will be upstaged by Nintendo as well as Sony. It´s going to be very funny to see them trying to get people excited about Perfect Dark 0 when both Nintendo and Sony will be showing off Halo killers.

I´m not going to share specs with you because they aren´t really that important. I think Iwata said something like that when asked the same question. All three consoles are going to be very powerful, trust me. I´ll give you some information though: it will be more powerful than the Xbox 360. Much more powerful. Many gamers seem to think it will be as powerful as the GBA or something. That isn´t the case at all. From what I saw during my time their as well as our game, it will be very capible.
But having the most powerful console doesn?t guarantee that gamers are going to buy it. Software sells the games. And if that statement holds true next generation, the Nintendo Revolution will be very popular.
In my next post I will "spill the beans" on everything I know about the Revolution. I´ll give you some hints though. All the rumors out there are not mere rumors. Some are planted by people who are working on the consoles. In fact, Nintendo is doing this right now with the information they´ve released on the Revolution. You are going to see why Nintendo hasn´t just come out and said confirmed that the Revolution is going to be very powerful. You´re going to be punk´d by them in a couple weeks. Pay attention to the boards, especially Nintendo´s board. It´s much better than OurColony.

I´m currently working on one Revolution game. Right now, we are still in the early stages of development. We have alot of concrete things down, but not enough to show I don´t think. Of course this could change if our publisher wants us to show our hand at E3.
We are working on a 3rd person action game. It is a recreation of a classic series that I felt could have been one of the most successful IP´s of the 1990´s. It will include the pressure sensitive controls I mentioned, but they will be optional. We are also using the voice controls for weapon and vehicle customization as well as AI controls. Since the game will be online, we are putting the online function to the test. Right now it´s going to provide 40 person multiplayer battles, but this could change (and increase) in time. We are also excited about using the revolutionary aspect of the system to create new ways to experience the genre. It will be like Halo and Ratchet and Clank 3 mixed.

I think it is impressive, but not as revolutionary as they are saying. For instance, there was no hype about the analog stick when it was revealed. It just made games easier to control. This aspect of it id very easy to use like everything else in the Revolution. Everyone will be able to understand it.

Vectorman isn´t coming out for the PS2. Sega was going to bring it to the current consoles, but the plan was scrapped. And no I don´t work for Pseudo Interactive. Or Silicon Knights. Funny you bring them up though. They will have one of the best games at E3. Outside of Zelda, Nintendo´s FPS (developed by Rare), and PD0, it will be the one of the best showings of E3.
I don´t have details on what game Squaresoft is working on. I know that it will be at E3 along with Final Fantasy 3 and FF:CC for the DS.
I´m not going to give out the secret. It´s going to be very fun; wait until E3. Nintendo is going to roll out a trojan horse: something that looks innocent and weak and them bam, it will be unveiled. Just don´t make up your mind on the first day of E3.
There is not a Sonic game in development for the Revolution. It is an exclusive Gamecube game. This one is totally seperate from Shadow the Hedgehog, which will be multi console (and should hit the PSP as well).

Es geht noch lange so weiter, Aries sagt, dass sich Super Smash Bros, ein Square Spiel usw. für den Rev. in Entwicklung ist. Das alles ist seit der PK von Nintendo ja bestätigt. Desweiteren wird gesagt, dass Nintendo einen GBA 2 (er meinte damit wohl den GBA Mikro) vorgestellt wird. Auch das hat sich bestätigt. Wie gesagt, das wurde alles Ende April gepostet, also Wochen vor der E3. Doch verlassen wir jetzt Aries und wenden uns dem nächsten "Insider" zu...
Osoko Tanaka ist der nächste, dem wir uns zuwenden wollen. Er führt ein Internettagebuch (Links gibt es unten). Laut seinen Aussagen, ist er ein Japaner der für Nintendo (und vor allem am Revolution System) gearbeitet hat. Er sagt, man solle bis zum 19. Mai abwarten. Um einen unglaublichen Boom auszulösen, hat Nintendo erst eine kleines Bömbchen gezündet, damit alle enttäuscht (und später umso mehr beeindruckt) sind.
IGN soll eine sehr große Rolle in dem ganzen Wirrwarr spielen. Sie haben einen großen exklusiv Deal mit Nintendo. Doch zu IGN gibt es später noch mehr.
Tanaka erwähnt immer wieder, dass es am 19. Mai eine große Überraschung geben wird.
Von Tanaka kommen wir jetzt zu einem angeblichem Fake Revolution Video. Der Nintendo on Trailer (download unten) ist sehr aufwendig gemacht. Am besten schaut ihr ihn euch selbst an. Wenn man nintendoon.com in die Browserleiste eintippt wird man zu dem entsprechendem Artikel von IGN verlinkt. Die Website wurde von einer Privatperson in Margaretville ins Leben gerufen. Und in der gleichen Stadt wohnt ein gewisser Reggie, den wir spätestens seit der E3 2004 mehr als gut kennen. In dem Nintendo on sieht man, neben einem kurzem Metroid Filmchen (wie auf der Nintendo PK), viele Toadstool-Schlösser. Insgesamt sind es, laut Counter, 512.000.000. Lasst uns etwas rätseln:
Millisekunden in Sekunden: 512.000.000 : 1000 = 512.000
Sekunden in Minuten: 512.000 : 60 = 8533,3
Minuten in Stunden: 8533,3 : 60 = 142,2

Insgesamt also 6 Tage. Das Video wurde am 13. Mai veröffentlicht. 6 + 13 = 19. Mai.
Desweiteren sieht man im Video einen kurzen Überblick über die Nintendokonsolen der Vergangenheit. Auf der Pressekonferrenz wurde von Nintendo offiziell bestätigt, dass man sämtliche Nintendo Klassiker auf dem Revolution herunterladen kann.
Kommen wir zur Nintendo Pressekonferenz am vergangenem Dienstag. Es gibt von der offiziellen Nintendo E3 Homepage zwei Screenshots (Fakes?). Darauf ist zum einem das bisher unbekannte Symbol NOW zu sehen (siehe Bilder). Außerdem steht der Satz "Nintendo makes a major Splash" da. Während der PK ändert sich der Satz zu "Nintendo sinks like a Rock". Warum sollte big.N. sowas auf seiner Homepage veröffentlichen?
Außerdem viel auf, dass Reggie und Nintendopräsident Iwata sehr locker drauf waren. Umgangssprachlich würde man sagen "sie haben sich gegenseitig die Eier geschaukelt". Was war der Grund dafür? Sie haben vorher ja schon Infos zur PS3 und Xbox 360 gehabt und anscheinend machte sie davon nichts nervös.
Während der Konferenz werden verschiedene Spiele gezeigt. Unter anderem auch Nintendogs für den DS. Doch der Kalender ist vorgestellt. Statt dem 17.5. wird der 19.5. angezeigt. Die Zeiger der Uhr stehen auf 10 Uhr. Und genau um 10 Uhr (Ortszeit bei uns entspricht das etwa 19 Uhr) wird Reggie heute ein Interview (Konferenz?) abhalten. Iwata erwähnte außerdem, dass er mit uns ein "Spiel spielte" und Reggie sagte "Be prepared to let your right brain run wild". Was meinen sie damit?
Dies sind jetzt alles nur Gerüchte und Vermutungen. Jedes einzelne Gerücht kann ich nicht in die News aufnehmen, das würde einfach viel zu lang dauern. Ich denke ich habe das wichtigste genannt und nun viel Spaß beim spekulieren.
